The SZP-06 System Zeta Potential detects the surface charge of solid particles. Surface charges play an important role in many industrial processes where the SZP can be applied whether these are fibers, textiles, pigments, colors, surface coatings or filtration aids. Therefore, a product’s surface charge is often used as a quality control parameter. Examining a sample before and after contact with a chemical additive reveals the efficiency of the selected additive. It also indicates adsorption or desorption behaviours and pH-sensitivity.
Measurements with the SZP are easy and quick, especially because it does not request tedious sample preparation - process samples can be taken as they are.
